The Cystic Fibrosis Team can be contacted on the below numbers, all 3 phones are in the same office, so if we don’t answer please leave a message.
Cystic fibrosis nurses: 0114 305 3366 and 0114 271 7319 (answerphones), and 0114 271 7375.
Dietitian: 0114 271 7212
Physiotherapist: 0114 271 7273 – bleep 122
Appointments: 0114 271 7437 between Monday to Thursday
Opening hours
Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm
Messages are answered from the answer phone throughout the day.
Out of hours
Contact the Medical Registrar on call via the main hospital switch board on 0114 271 7000.
Out of hours includes:
- after 5pm
- weekends
- bank holidays

Specialist clinics for young persons and diabetic
Afternoons 2pm to 5pm
Young persons meetings are 2 times a month alternating between Sheffield Children’s Hospital and Northern General Hospital.
Diabetic clinics are every 3 months.
If you need urgent medical advice and cannot contact anyone via the cystic fibrosis unit call the Hospital main switchboard on 0114 271 7000 and ask to speak to the Medical Registrar on call.
