Trampette programme 2

Why is this programme important?

This is for children who have already completed trampette programme 1 who want to progress motor coordination further. You must have worked on trampette programme 1 for at least 4 weeks before moving onto trampette programme 2.

Use this programme 3 to 4 times each week for at least 4 weeks.

If you find the exercises cause you pain, please stop the exercise and seek advice from a healthcare professional.

Trampette programme 2

While jumping on the trampette, follow theses sequences. Hold hands if needed.

  1. Jump both feet together, jump both feet apart. Repeat for 1 minute
  2. Kick alternate feet out to sides with or without ankle weights for 1 minute
  3. Tuck jumps 20 times. Jump with both feet together then bring knees up to chest
  4. Jog whilst touching alternate knees for 1 minute
  5. Kick legs alternately forward whilst touching head on and off for 1 minute
  6. Kick legs backwards alternately whilst pushing both arms forward for 1 minute
  7. Jog on trampette whilst raising both arms up, down, forwards, backwards for 1 minute
  8. Carefully jump sideways on and off the trampette 10 times
  9. Jump then kick both legs out at same time to the side 20 times
  10. Jog gently to relax for 1 minute
