SARC summary of care

Thank you for attending the sexual assault referral centre (SARC) at Sheffield Children’s Hospital.

We hope we have provided you with the excellent care we strive and that you had opportunity to complete a patient feedback form. This resource is designed to provide you with a summary of the care you receive whilst at the centre, and referral for support we have made for you going forwards.

We offer every child or young person seen at the SARC a referral to the Children’s Independent Sexual Violence Advisory Service (also knowns as CHISVA or the ISVA). This service offers practical support to help you deal with your circumstances, including liaising with the police and court.
