Preparation for birth and beyond antenatal classes

This 5 week course is delivered jointly by health visitors, early years workers, infant feeding workers based in family centres, and midwives.

This course is suitable for women and their partners in Sheffield, who are 28 weeks pregnant with their first child at the start of the session. The sessions will be delivered via Zoom.

Come and meet other parents to find out about:

  • What your baby needs during pregnancy and beyond
  • Becoming a parent, and what it means in practice
  • What local support is available to you
  • About labour and birth
  • Caring for yourselves and your baby
  • Feeding your baby
